Visa Exempt Countries. Nationals of ASEAN countries and several other Non-ASEAN countries DO NOT require a visa to enter Vietnam. However, the number of days they can stay in Vietnam on an immigration stamp varies.
E-VISA Countries. The easiest way to apply for a visa to enter Vietnam is by applying for an eVisa online at the National Web Portal on Immigration website https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt.
Dedicated Visa Agent (VN Air Travel). In case your country is not Visa Exempt and cannot apply for an eVisa through the National Web Portal on Immigration then we suggest that you try applying through VN Air Travel. This is a subsidiary of the company that operates Ho Chi Minh International Airport and has a visa service counter located inside Ho Chi Minh International Airport to provide visa assistance on arrival. They are a trusted agent and have serviced WCA related conferences in the past. Note that you must contact them in advance so that they can prepare the required documents and bill you for their services otherwise they cannot assist you.
Please send email to email@example.com (Attention: Mr. Hao and Ms. Linda) for assistance
If you cannot apply for a visa through one of the above means then you will need to apply for a visa directly through a Vietnam Embassy nearest you.
